Response to $4.00 Membership Requests
Dear _______,
We have received your $4.00 check for membership in The American Bell
Association International, Inc. We are pleased that you are interested in joining our bell collector's organization, however, your check is being returned as the membership dues for a year are $_.00 for a family. The $4.00 dues was from many years ago even though it has been included on some of the newer bells sold today.
Our Bell Tower magazine has become professional and includes much information on bells of all types. It is published bi-monthly and the dues cover the cost of printing and mailing.
We have local chapters which meet at least twice a year in many locations throughout the U.S.A. and abroad. In addition, an annual convention is held in June or July.
We hope you will decide to join our organization. An application form is enclosed.
