ABA Job Description

 

TRUSTEES COMMITTEE

 

BASIC FUNCTION

Serve on the budget committee, promote a feeling of goodwill and friendship, and provide dissolution of ABA should that ever become necessary.

 

COMMITTEE MEMBER QUALIFICATIONS

   1. Have experience and background in the workings and principles of ABA.

   2. Be interested and willing to promote friendship and good will among ABA members.

   3. Be willing to assist in any assignments of the President.

Current Procedures

     

Trustees Committee

        

1. The senior trustee serves as Chairman of the Trustees Committee and as a member of the Budget Committee.

2. The rotating committee members are to be consulted by the Chairman before decisions are made.

3. Preview the proposed ABA budget prepared by the Treasurer.

4. The Chairman meets with the Budget Committee at convention.

5. Promote the feeling of friendship among ABA members.

6. Perform duties assigned by the President.

7. Submit four copies of annual report to ABA Recording Secretary at the Executive Committee meeting held before the annual convention; if not attending convention, send four copies of annual report to the President three weeks before convention.

8. The Chairman shall attend Executive Committee meeting chaired by President on day before convention.

9. Members of the committee will receive a copy of the Current Procedures from the Job Description Committee.
